Join us Sunday for our weekly 9:55 a.m. service in the Stoney Creek Conference Center, Columbia
The Revolution is simply a group of people that love God and want to honor Him and help people. We strive for fellowship, to worship God in a genuine way, and to provide relevant messages and timely words filled with spiritual truths. It is a place for dreamers and thinkers, where change can happen, and everyone is welcome.
The Revolution was started by a few couples who wanted to honor God and help people, but who wanted more from their relationship with God than what they were experiencing. They wanted something real, so they started meeting in a basement with about 8 adults and 8 children. They read from the Bible, sang to a CD player, and prayed. In about 2 ½ months they grew to about 20 adults and 12 children, and that is when they made the move to the Marriott. Having recently outgrown the Marriott, the new home resides at the Stoney Creek Conference Center.
The vision of the Revolution is to help more people know God and have better lives. We're not looking to build a big monument for God and call that church. We are endeavoring to demonstrate the love of God to people and encourage them to be The Church, not just an organization. We are one of many voices in this region that are telling the story that God is real and He is actively involved in our lives.
The Pastor is Gary Powell, and you can get to know him better through his blog (opens a new window).
We can't tell you if The Revolution is for you. The best way for you to determine that is to join us for at least one Sunday morning or to email Pastor Gary Powell.
It’s okay if you’re not “religious” – we’re not either! We are about a relationship with God, and not rules and regulations of any particular “religion.”
Take a moment to get to know Pastor Gary Powell through is Blog (opens in new window), emailing him, or joining everybody this Sunday (you can even slip in and out of the back if you want).
We’re still new with a very diverse group of about 100 people, but we are growing. For the time being and until we get a building of our own, we meet at the Stoney Creek Conference Center in Columba. It's a nice place with more room and better parking.
Visit with Pastor Gary Powell and all the great people who join us. It's a great, uplifting, spiritual time.
