The Revolution is simply a group of people that love God, and want to honor Him and help people. We strive for fellowship, to worship God in a genuine way, and to provide relevant messages and timely words filled with spiritual truths. It is a place for dreamers and thinkers, where change can happen, and everyone is welcome.
The vision of the Revolution is to help more people know God and have better lives. We’re not looking to build a big monument for God and call that church, but rather we endeavor to demonstrate the love of God to people and encourage them to be The Church. The Revolution is just one of many voices that are telling the story that God is real and actively involved in our lives. We plan to impact the culture of Columbia with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and His Kingdom
The Revolution was started by a few couples who wanted to honor God and help people, but who wanted more from their relationship with God than what they were experiencing. They craved something real, so they started meeting in one of their homes with about 8 adults and 8 children. They read from the Bible, sang to a CD player, and prayed. In about 2 ½ months they grew to about 20 adults and 12 children, and that is when they made the move to a meeting room at the Marriott Courtyard. Not long after, they outgrew the Marriott. The new home now resides at the Stoney Creek Conference Center in Columbia.
