Nate White

Music Director

Nate promotes musical and spiritual growth of Revolution Music team members, and spiritual growth of the Revolution congregation. His responsibilities include recruiting, equipping and training musicians, singers and audio/visual team members. He prepares the music and related media for Revolution Sunday services, while cultivating a culture of praise and worship of Jesus Christ through the language of music.

In his spare time, Nate enjoys cooking – with fire and a total disregard for measurement. He loves checking out cool things in cool places on the occasional bike ride or hike, and nurtures his competitive side through paintball and board games. He also enjoys a good flick.

When it comes to music, some of his favorite sounds are those of his wife singing and his baby boy cooing. He believes there is a genre of music that is simply “good music”, which could be any style by anyone, but includes the presence of the Divine. He believes this kind of music is anointed, and immediately changes the atmosphere. A few specific sources of musical inspiration for Nate include Israel Houghton, Stevie Wonder, Jeff Beck, John Scofield, Victor Wooten, Eric Johnson, Jimmy Herring, Leonard Jones, Jeff Buckley, Jason Upton, U2, Third Day, Misty Edwards, the Beatles, Phil Keaggy, Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, Willie Nelson, Harry Chapin, Cat Stevens and Motown.

Those who know Nate can attest that he is a hugger. They can also attest to his typical high energy. But many may not know that he doesn’t like messy cables on the stage, and loves hand sanitizer.
