Gary’s largest role at Revolution Church is to be a compassionate, merciful and loving Pastor. He must defend the weak, heal the sick and equip believers through insightful, prophetic and anointed messages. He focuses on developing relationships, impacting our community and helping people become aware of the benefits of a relationship with Jesus Christ.
When Gary is not ministering, he enjoys peaceful hobbies like watercolor, drawing and reading. He is an MU Football fan and catches the games whenever possible. Cooking in the kitchen with his wife, Audra, is also a passion.
Favorite childhood memories for Gary revolve around “awesome” family Thanksgivings in Bowling Green, Missouri. He remembers a house filled with 70-80 extended family members – one room overflowing with the sound of piano, organ and violin music playing old hymns for the participating singers; the other with football by the fireplace, and the faint smell of cigars and a pipe. All the rooms were speckled with laughter and kids occasionally running through.
There was an abundance of food and favorite desserts covered the counters. A game of scrabble was always in play at the table in the middle of the kitchen, while the older kids rustled up a game of football in the backyard – each end of the house marking an end zone. And the day always ended with extended conversations by the front door, concluded with promises of getting together more than once a year.
