Sunday Worship
Regular services start every Sunday at 9:55 a.m. at the Stoney Creek Conference Center in Columbia and last until around 11:30 a.m. Feel free to wear whatever feels comfortable for you. For some, it’s a suit and tie or dress, for others it’s jeans and a t-shirt.
The Revolution is a non-denominational church; our fellowship is around 150 people of different backgrounds, age and ethnicity, mostly between 25-55 and many with families. When you first arrive you should expect to be welcomed by lots of friendly people who are never intimidating or overbearing. You will be given a welcome card and will likely meet a few folks right away. Children may attend regular services or age-specific classes – whichever makes them feel more comfortable.
The service varies but we typically begin with music. The pastor then welcomes everyone and invites them to participate in the worship experience. Sometimes he will give his message first, and sometimes a guest speaker will start. We like to keep it unpredictable. The one thing you can always count on is that we will always teach the Word of God in a genuine and non-religious way.
Our goal is that you will feel noticed, appreciated, encouraged and thoughtful, with a belief that you have received real, applicable information to apply to your life today. At the end of the service many folks will mingle around and eventually work their way out. Everyone is welcome to stick around as long as they like and enjoy each others’ company and friendship.
Come by one Sunday and see for yourself if being at Revolution Church feels right for you. We have a feeling it will! If you enjoy it, come back. If not, don’t feel obligated. If you have any questions before stopping by, call or email Pastor Gary. You can also watch from a distance and read Pastor Gary’s blog.
